Troop 78 Nanuet
Troop 78 was chartered on May 1, 1982 under the sponsorship of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
The troop has challenging and rewarding experiences that will provide boys with many opportunities for adventure and advancement. From backpacking, hiking, boating and winter camping to high-adventure trips at National Jamborees, World Jamborees, Philmont and Sea Base as well as skiing and attending Summer Camp at Ten Mile River Boy Scout Reservation.
In the troops 30 years, 52 scouts have earned scouting’s highest award, the rank of Eagle which only 2% of scouts earn world wide.
Over the years, Troop 78 has been one of the most active troops in Rockland County. We are proud of our accomplishments and looks forward to even greater ones in the future.
